Payout and Fee Updates: What You Need to Know
At Fat Zebra, we’re constantly refining our infrastructure to enhance the way transactions are settled for our customers. As part of these improvements, we’re introducing key updates to our payout structure and fee model to streamline operations and improve visibility. These changes will be rolling out over the coming months, and we want to ensure you’re fully informed.
Moving to a Single Payout Structure
We are transitioning to a simplified payout structure to enhance reconciliation and reduce complexity. Previously, Eftpos transactions had a separate payout process, but moving forward, all transactions will be included in a single payout. However, AMEX and UPI transactions will continue to have their own payout cycle.
What This Means for You
- Simplified reconciliation: A single payout for transactions means easier tracking and reporting.
- Improved payout visibility: Payout details, including breakdowns, will be available in the Fat Zebra Merchant Dashboard and via Email.
- Business day processing: Transactions from Friday and the weekend will be settled based on your standard terms (e.g., T+2 business day transactions will be paid on Tuesday).
Collection of Fees for Billable Events
Existing contracted fees will now be collected and documented within your monthly statement for all transaction types including, purchases, authorisations, declines, and refunds.
